The stunned passengers aboard a car on a remote road in Chile had trouble believing their eyes when they saw a car ahead of them...with a LAMB riding on the roof. The sheepish traveller was atop the car as it travelled on a highway near the city of Temuco, in the south Chilean province of Cautin. The passengers took pictures to show their family and friends and later posted them on social network sites. The pictures show a small red car piled high with furnishings, including a mattress, and table....and on top of the pile the lamb. It seemed quite happy with its strange perch, seemingly enjoying the scenery as the car drove along. According to the rules of traffic in Chile, vehicles must have "technical constructions characteristics and dimensions for transporting passengers, cargo and living animals," otherwise face a fine.
