19 vjeçari kishte ikur nga shtëpia për në aventurën e çuditshme dhe të rrezikshme të lojërave, transmeton Bota Sot.

Policia thotë se ai u gjet pa ndjenja pas shkurreve afër një hekurudhore në Hangzhou të Kinës.

Këmbët e tij ishin të gjakosura dhe të infektuara dhe vinin erë të qelbur.

Ai u dërgua për trajtim mjekësor, e më pas u tha policisë se nuk kishte ngrënë 3 ditë, pasi të gjitha paratë i kishte shpenzuar për lojëra për aventurën 6 ditëshe.

Fillimisht babai i tij tha se nuk e donte djalin e tij, pasi kishte 10 ditë që ai kishte ikur nga shtëpia dhe nuk bënte gjë tjetër pos fiksimit në lojërat online.

Por, më vonë ai ndryshoi qëndrim dhe e pyeti djalin nëse dëshiron të kthehet me të në shtëpi.

Zyrtarët janë shprehur të shqetësuar për gjendjen e tij, pasi ai do të mund të vdiste po të mos gjendej në kohë.

Police rescued a teenager who was so addicted to online gaming he let his feet rot when he went on a six-day binge at an internet cafe and forgot to wash or feed himself and later collapsed. The unnamed man, aged 19, had apparently run away from home in order to go on the bizarre and dangerous gaming adventure, with his own father even reluctant to take him home. Authorities in Hangzhou, capital of East China’s Zhejiang Province, reportedly came across the young gamer after he was spotted lying unconscious behind the shrubs of a railway track. He was found with bleeding and infected feet, which had festered and which let off a putrid smell. The man only woke briefly to ask for water as he was dragged back to the police station for some basic medical attention. He told authorities that he had not eaten for three days, having spent all his money on a six-day, non-stop gaming spree at the internet cafe. It was clear that he had not taken a shower during the time either, which is thought to be the main contributing factor to his rotting feet. Reports said the gamer’s own father initially told officer that he did not want his son back, claiming that the teenager ran away from home 10 days ago and did not care for anything else besides online gaming. But after some consideration the dad asked for his son to be sent back to him. Officers said they were concerned for the young man because his foot infection could have killed him if he had not been found in time. (ends)
