Sea receding is a phenomenon that happens year after year, as it happened last year, and it was most visible on the coast of Vlora and in Lezha as well.

But what has been noticed by citizens and environmental experts is the fact that in the city of Vlora this year the receding has been more pronounced.

Euronews Albania journalist, Ebrieta Macaj, stated on the show “Good Morning Albanians” that this is a problem that is worrying environmentalists.

“Actually, it happens every year, but it has never happened on this scale. As you can see, I am in the area of Lungomare. This structure in the sea was built by the architect to create a kind of dynamic where the tide would appear, so that the citizens would see this phenomenon as an attraction. It had never come out so much, the size of the sea’s pull was very strong”, said the journalist. “This is also worrying environmentalists, since such an exposed part of the coast means death for the ecosystem. It has been about four days since the sea receded. Specialists say that this is a problem”, reported journalist Ebrieta Macaj. /Telegrafi/
