Journalist Edu Aguirre reports that the Emir of Qatar wants to sell Paris Saint-Germain after the World Cup held at the end of this year.

The Sheikhs have been looking for European glory for several years, but without success even though they are already the main ones in Ligue 1.

According to Aguirre, the leaders from Qatar are fed up with the club's expectations even though they approached Lionel Messi as a free agent last summer.

It is further known that even Nasser Al-Khelaifi will not stay at PSG and during the next winter they will confirm the sale of the club.

It is not yet known who could be the potential owner, but the journalist informs that the sale of the French club will happen.

Qatari officials want to focus on the rise of local football and believe that the good image they will create during the World Cup will bring more attention to their football. /Telegraph/
