Reports suggest that Modric has accepted an offer from president Florentino Perez to return to Madrid after his career ends, either as a club ambassador or as a coach. However, his idea is to first take a year off to devote himself to his family after leaving Milan.
After this period, Modrić plans to attend coaching courses, with the aim of taking over one of the new categories in the Real Madrid academy. Working with children is a great desire for him, and he sees this as the ideal start to his coaching career, Spanish journalists write.
