Kendall Jenner reveals the struggles she went through to become a model as she says the overwork caused her anxiety

Kendall Jenner worked hard when she started her modeling career at the age of 14.
The brunette beauty confessed to feeling 'extremely overwhelmed' in her early twenties and admitted that stepping back has done 'wonders' for her.
The 26-year-old felt overwhelmed after having little time for herself when she signed a contract with Calvin Klein and attended Chanel shows while traveling the world.
"The things I've achieved, even my job, at one point when I was younger, I decided I wanted to be a model. I didn't stop until I was 24," she told Jay Shetty on the On Purpose podcast.
It was 2009 when "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" started. Her mother Kris Jenner got her an agent at Wilhelmina and they booked her in a commercial for Forever 21.
She was also featured on the cover of “American Cheerleader.” The star was already a cheerleader in high school, so it was a good fit.
Her big break was when she was hired to be the face of Estee Lauder, which led to her signing with Calvin Klein.
From there the model worked for Versace, Fendi and Chanel, he writes Dailymail.
"There were five pivotal years where I was extremely overwhelmed, not my happiest, and I felt like I was saying 'yes' to everything because I felt really grateful to be in the position I was in," she said, likely referring to a very busy time from the ages of 19 to 24.
Kendall eventually decided to make her well-being her number one priority.
And basketball star Devin Booker's girlfriend admits her new approach has transformed her life.
“I just wasn't happy anymore so I had to set those boundaries for myself. I need to start saying no when I can and start prioritizing myself and my well-being. It has done wonders for me," she said.
The famous model also said she believes there are 'so many false stories' about her family.
The 26-year-old became a global star on the TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Kendall thinks the public still has an incorrect perception of her family.
"There are so many false narratives about us. A lot of people think they understand you when they don't even know the half of it. It's really unfair because I'm not who they think I am. That can really hit me sometimes and that's really disgusting. But then I look at myself in the mirror and say, 'I know who I am, so why does anything else matter?'" the model said.
Kendall, meanwhile, is back in the arms of her partner of many years, basketball player Devin Booker. /telegraph/
