From India, Bangladesh and Pakistan to find work in Albania

From India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan to find work in Albania.
Unqualified, often poorly paid, but this does not prevent them from concluding contracts and life in Albania.
The Indian Admir Bujlar has been working in Lezha for 2 months. He cleans metals at a company that makes buckets for excavators that are sold in Italy.
He is an unskilled worker and is paid little.
"I get paid $12 a day here. here it is better, better job. The company has taken care of everything," he says.
There are some Indians in this company. They have a residence permit to work, have regular employment contracts and are insured. Others are expected to come.
"We are waiting for another group to come, there are 5 people, not only simple workers but also professional welders. They are people who want to work and are ready to respond to this job profile", says Alfred Çupi, technical director.
In recent years, unskilled workers from abroad have started coming to Albania. In March 2021, there were 8,573 individuals declared for employment.
The new law makes it easier for foreigners to obtain a work permit. Dozens of businesses have started hiring employees from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Although this has sparked public debate, immigrants are happy. Some are thinking of taking their families to Albania.
"I plan to take my family here. This is a beautiful place, there are very beautiful beaches, Durrës is a very big beach, people are very kind, I have had no problems", said the Indian Bujlar.
