Kosovo coach Franco Foda says he had no desire to meet Austria because it is a strong team, however he is certain that the stadium will be filled with Kosovars.

Kosovo is in Group B of the Nations League against Austria, the Republic of Ireland and Israel, where matches will begin in September.

For Fodan, the challenge with Austria will be more exciting, since he led them for five years (2017-2022), and he expects a difficult challenge.

"Austria was not my preferred choice, they have exceptional quality. On the other hand, I can't wait to meet my former players again," he told Sky Austria.

Meanwhile, in the match taking place on September 27th - Foda is sure that the stadium will be filled with Kosovar fans.

"It will be a home match for us too because I'm sure 10 or 15 thousand Kosovars will support us in Vienna."

We remind you that Kosovo will first play in the World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia, and then, if they win, they will host the winner of the other semi-final, Turkey - Romania, at "Fadil Vokrri".Telegrafi
