The record number from the special birth book of the births of Zulfia Amza and seven hundred other people without personal documents will soon become the birth number, MIA writes.

With the changes approved in the Civil Status Law, all undocumented people in the country, who fought the system to prove their legal identity, to secure personal documents, and with this access to basic rights, should become citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.

For fifty-five-year-old Zulfia Amza, an unemployed woman who has never seen a doctor, this is a dream come true.
