Ukrainian drones strike Russian oil refinery again

Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian oil refinery last night, the third time this has happened - causing a large fire to break out.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that 15 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defenses - eight over the Rayaza region, six in Kursk and one in Belgorod, Russia, the Telegraph reports.

Various amateur videos show the fire that broke out in Ryazan, but this refinery was attacked twice more – on January 23 and 24.

Even Russian authorities themselves have confirmed the coordinated Ukrainian attack on their territory - which targeted oil refineries.

The Ukrainians have long targeted Russian refineries, with the sole purpose of slowing down the production of fuels used in Russian military equipment that has been shipped to Ukraine. /Telegraph/
