Ruben Amorim's Man United salary revealed - the Portuguese earns far less than Ten Hag

The new manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, has become the fourth highest paid manager in the Premier League.
The Red Devils confirmed today that the 39-year-old will take over from Erik ten Hag as manager from November 11.
Man Utd activated the €12m release clause in his contract with Sporting Lisbon and have paid an extra €1m to stop a 30-day spell where he would have to be unemployed.
Amorim has signed a deal at Old Trafford that runs until 2027 and includes an option for a further year.
The manager will reportedly earn £6.5m a season at Man Utd. This is slightly less than Ten Hag, who earned £6,75m a year.
The Dutchman was on £9m when he first joined, but Man Utd failed to qualify for the Champions League last season and is understood to have taken a pay cut.
Manchester City's Pep Guardiola tops the list of the highest-paid managers in English football's elite, on £20 million a year.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta takes home £10m and Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is third on £8m.
Amorim's £6.5m contract sees him move just above Liverpool's Arne Slott on the list of highest-paid managers. /Telegraph/
