Michael Jackson's son defends his late grandfather after rumors that he abused children

Joe Jackson passed away three days ago after a battle with cancer. While after his death, rumors spread about his abusive parenting towards his children.
However, his grandson, Prince, the son of Michael Jackson, has come to the defense of his late grandfather.
The 21-year-old has published a video on Instagram reacting to speculation that Joe had abused Michael when the King of Pop was young.
"We have some things to talk about. One of the things I'm going to talk about today is my grandfather and the things you're saying about him."
"You can keep saying all the irrelevant things you want about him abusing my father and whatever else - I'll make a YouTube video about it, but he raised his kids right.
"Otherwise, they would be in gangs or dead," Prince Jackson said.

Reports that Joe abused his children date back to a 1993 interview Michael gave on Oprah Winfrey's show, where he said his father beat him and his brothers.
"If you didn't do it right, he would beat you, really hard," the late singer had said.
"One might call him a strict disciplinarian or whatever, but he was very strict. He was very tough. Just one look would scare you... but, I forgive him," was Michael Jackson's confession. /Telegrafi/
