Ekrem Kastrati of Nisma wins in the first round in Malisheva
Malisheva, October 13, 2025 – The vote counting process in the Municipality of Malisheva has been fully completed and the final results show that Ekrem Kastrati from the Social Democratic Initiative has provided convincing victory in the first round.
According to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC), from 74 polling stations processed (100%), the result is this:
Ekrem Kastrati (Social Democratic Initiative) – 53,41% (10,907 votes)
Joy Krasniqi (PDK) – 18,91% (3,862 votes)
Hoti waves (LVV) – 15,50% (3,165 votes)
Fatmir Ademaj (LDK) – 7,56% (1,543 votes)
Enver Hoti (AAK) – 2,95% (602 votes)
Valon Krasniqi (DARE) – 1,39% (284 votes)
With over 53 percent of the vote, Kastrati secures second term as mayor of Malisheva without the need for a runoff.
