Italian police arrest 181 people in bid to prevent mafia revival in Sicily

Italian police have carried out a series of raids against mafia clans operating in and around Palermo, Sicily.

More than 1200 police officers took part in the major operation, and the Carabinieri military police said the action was aimed at the development of the mafia in the area.
