Around 600,000 people marched through central London to Downing Street to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Nakba.

The demonstration began on the Embankment before passing Big Ben, to Waterloo and ending outside Downing Street.


It was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al-Aqsa, the Muslim Association of Britain, Stop the War, the Palestinian Forum in Britain and other pro-Palestinian groups.

Stop the War said about 600,000 people marched, making it the largest since November 2023.

And it was intended "to mark the 77th anniversary of the 1948 Nakba and demand that the government take action to end the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land."
