Actor Merkur Bozgo passed away (Photo)

The well-known actor Merkur Bozgo passed away at the age of 80.

The deceased was suffering from a serious illness, which left him without signs of life on Saturday morning.

The Albanian actor was born on March 24, 1937 in the city of Gjirokastra.

In 1961, he completed his higher studies at the Language and Literature Department at the University of Tirana, and from this year he began working at Estrada e Tirana until 1968.

After this year, he worked in Television for seven years and since 1975 he worked as an actor in the People's Theater (today the National Theater).

He retired in 1994. In cinematography, his first role will be in the television comedy "Estrada na ekran" in 1968. My last role of the actor Merkur Bozgo was that of Hoxha in the film "Gjoleka, son of Abazi" in 2005 alongside Enxhi Agushi.
