The moment when the prisoner is killed in front of the guard's eyes by another prisoner in Honduras

An inmate who was aware of the involvement of the brother of the president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez in drug smuggling, has been shot several times with a revolver inside the prison.

The security cameras in the high security prison El Pozo, have filmed the moment when Nery Lopez Sanabria is attacked by several other prisoners in front of the eyes of the prison guard, who ran away to escape the worst, Telegraph reports.

The chilling video shows the 37-year-old trying to escape, but unfortunately being shot several times in the head. And if that wasn't enough, two inmates then repeatedly stabbed him in the back and legs.

On the other side, the person who shoots him with a revolver approaches him and shoots him several times even though he is lying on the ground, filling the entire space with blood.

Lopez Sanabria was allegedly the former business partner of former congressman Antonio "Tony" Hernandez, the president's younger brother, who has been found guilty of drug trafficking in a New York court.

World media reports that many notebooks belonging to Lopez Sanabria served as evidence during the trial. On the other hand, his lawyer, Carlos Chajtur, has accused the Honduran government, claiming that it is responsible for the murder.

A petition seeking the transfer of Lopez Sanabria to another prison was recently denied. /Telegraph/
