The Diplomatic Union of Macedonia at the Confederation of Free Trade Unions accused today that disciplinary procedures are being conducted against three diplomats because they had performances in the tribune dedicated to the diaspora of North Macedonia. The Union points out that it is mostly about young diplomats.
"In the procedure, it was confirmed that these three young diplomats in no way damaged the reputation of the house, nor did they damage the reputation of the MFA. The only sin they received was that they did not ask the minister's consent for their presentations. Only this. In this case, the procedure is invoked in the famous "no" Code of Ethics of the MFA, which provides for such an obligation for employees", say the Union.
From there they inform that a request has been submitted to the Constitutional Court for this provision to be declared invalid.
The Diplomatic Union, as noted, now proposes the three diplomats for the title of Diplomats of the Year 2020.
