Traffic in Kocani blocked from today, parents of victims in "Pulse" demand justice for their children

"Starting today, there will be peaceful public gatherings and blockades at the roundabout at the double bridge on Stevo Teodosievski Street. The blockades will last for one hour each day, from 15:15 PM to 16:15 PM, until the start of the trial," this was announced by the parents of the victims in the Pulse fire on March 16, at the "26th March for Angels" held yesterday in front of the Basic Court in Kocani.
The parents said that according to them, the suspects' lawyers stated that the trial would last 10 to 15 years.
"This statement is shameful and humiliating for the families whose children lost their lives in the tragedy. Such words sound like an attempt to prepare the public for slow procrastination and oblivion. We will not allow this," said the mother of one of the victims.
The victims' parents are demanding that the court's capacity be increased with additional judges and judicial assistants so that the process is not delayed due to a lack of resources.
They also emphasized that hearings should be given priority and a consistent pace, so that the procedure can proceed smoothly and without unnecessary delays.
They suspect manipulation or hidden slowing down of the trial and demand public and transparent monitoring of all procedural activities.
