Aleksandar Vučić stated today that Serbia is seriously threatened by the creation of a military alliance between Kosovo, Croatia and Albania and expressed concern about what he called the global silence on this issue.

"The creation of a military alliance between Croatia, Pristina and Tirana seriously endangers us and we will deal with this problem. This is an issue that we must take seriously," he told reporters in Munich, where he is attending the Munich Security Conference.

The Serbian President announced that he will soon attend a meeting of the General Staff College of the Serbian Army and the Ministry of Defense, as well as visit special purpose industry factories. He also said that significant additional resources will be invested in the production of weapons and military equipment to strengthen the country's defense capabilities, reports index.hr.

"We will have to export weapons to earn income, but we will increase the share of production that goes directly to the army, which has not happened so far. Up to 30, maybe even 40 percent of our production will now go directly to the Serbian Army," he emphasized, reports Telegrafi.

Vučić also expressed concern about the fact that, according to him, the international community ignores the issue of creating this military alliance, emphasizing that it is not just about military ties, but about an alliance with clear political and security implications.

"I am concerned that everyone is pretending to be deaf and talking nonsense about cooperation. The issue is not who you sell ammunition to, but who you are in a military alliance with, who you defend or who you attack," the Serbian leader said, returning to the question of why this alliance was formed.

He stressed that Serbia takes security threats seriously and will do everything necessary to protect its people and territory.

"Serbia is ready to defend its territory and people more strongly than ever, and from month to month we will become stronger and stronger," Vučić concluded.

On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Kosovo's Defense Minister, Ejup Maqedonci, held a trilateral meeting on Friday with the defense ministers of Albania and Croatia, Pirro Vengu and Mario Anusic, emphasizing that the cooperation is not "directed against any neighbor."

The topic of discussions was future cooperation within the framework of the Declaration on Cooperation in the Field of Defense and Security, which aims to develop joint projects in the defense industry and strengthen cooperation between the armies of the three countries. /Telegraph/
