Kosovar boxer Donjeta Sadiku won the gold medal at the "Feliks Stamm" tournament held in Warsaw, Poland.
In the final of the 60 kilogram category, she convincingly triumphed over Britain's Elise Glynn with a clean score of 5:0.
Sadik dominated the last two rounds, showing great strength, technique and experience.
On her way to the final, she also defeated Poland's Aleksandra Jankowiak in the quarterfinals and Italy's Rebecca Nicoli in the semifinals – both with a score of 5:0.
The tournament was organized by World Boxing, the new federation supported by the International Olympic Committee, of which the Kosovo Boxing Federation is also a member.
Donjeta aims for a medal at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, after participating in two previous Olympics.
Meanwhile, brothers Shpëtim and Bashkim Bajoku were eliminated in the first round of this tournament. /Telegraph/
