"The most expensive house in the world": Inside the 'castle' of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman

When it comes to luxury purchases, Mohamed Bin Salman knows how to spend his money.
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is on the verge of completing a £300m takeover of Newcastle United.
But surprisingly this is only 70 million pounds more than the cost of his French Chateau, for which he offered no less than 230 million pounds.
The 50,000 square meter property is located in Louveciennes, near Versailles.
Known as Chateau Louis XIV, the house is modeled on 17th-century French castles, and was built between 2008-2011.
Among its many impressive features are an indoor aquarium, indoor and outdoor pools, and a nightclub.
There was originally a 19th-century castle there, before Bin Salman instructed developers to demolish it in favor of a modern look.
The chateau also features 10 bedroom suites, a library, private squash court, a cinema room, two ballrooms and a wine cellar - which can hold up to 3,000 bottles.
And many of the devices can be controlled from an iPhone, including fountains, sound systems, lights and air conditioning.
Perhaps the most unusual of the property's features is the meditation room, which is located inside the castle wall and boasts a transparent underwater chamber that holds freshwater fish. /Telegrafi/
