Learn what the three colors in toothpaste mean and why they are important

Each of the three colors has its own important health impact for protecting dental health.

Toothpaste ingredients are often the subject of debate, but experts say that only toothpaste of unverified origin can save us.

It is important to brush your teeth twice a day for every day, and besides the toothpaste, the way you brush your teeth is also important.

Each of those "strips" in toothpaste has different ingredients, as well as different effects. Here's what they have to say, reports the Telegraph:

▪ Fluoride (white part) it is the most valuable and important ingredient in toothpaste. It contains the substance with the help of which teeth are whitened, but even more important is that it protects your teeth from caries.

▪ Blue (or green) gel it has an anti-microbial effect, freshens your breath and protects the inside of your mouth from bacteria.

▪ Red gel was added later and contains some of the key elements for gum health. This pasty look isn't necessary, but it's a great marketing strategy.

Also, there is a secret hidden at the bottom of the packaging itself. There, we always see a color, maybe it seemed like something unimportant, or others didn't even notice it, but it can be one of the most important things.

If the color at the end of the paste is:

▪ Green – The paste is natural

▪ Blue – Natural + medications

▪ Red – Natural + chemicals

▪ Black – All paste contains chemicals

Now you know what paste to use.
