Vlado Petrov, a retired police officer and former chief traffic inspector who was suspected of signing a document regarding a parking space in front of the "Pulse" discotheque in Kočani, has died, the Independent Police Union announced.

"Petrov dedicated his entire working life to serving and protecting citizens. Unfortunately, he did not receive justice. He was among the suspects in the case of the tragic fire at the 'Pulse' nightclub in Kocani," the Macedonian Police Union said in a statement.


The investigation into the case is being conducted by the Basic Public Prosecution Office for the Criminal Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption against 30 police officers from the Shtip Police Department and the Koçan Police Station. /Telegrafi/
