Pepe reveals Ronaldo's heart with two moments during their time at Real Madrid
Former Real Madrid defender Pepe has shared a touching memory of his time at the club, showing the kindness and loyalty of his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pepe recalled a moment when he suffered a head injury during a match against Valencia.
Upon waking up in the hospital, he was surprised to learn that Ronaldo had stayed with him all night, providing support to his family.
This gesture, Pepe revealed, was not an isolated incident, as when Pepe was considering leaving Real Madrid, Ronaldo did everything to convince him to stay.
"Cristiano asked me to stay at Real Madrid when I left."
"He told me, 'If it's about money, man, I'll give up my money and give it to you!'" Pepe says.
Although Pepe ultimately decided to leave the club in search of a new challenge, he remains grateful for Ronaldo's loyalty and friendship. /Telegraph/
