This is the scene of devastation after a vehicle transporter smashed into a bridge while stacked with pristine cars - tearing one in HALF. See SWNS story SWCAR. Dramatic photos show the front of a crushed white Seat hanging through the middle layer of the lorry while the rear end is left behind. The new car, thought to have a 2015 plate, was destroyed when the driver of the transporter misjudged the height of a new pedestrian footbridge. Office workers said they heard an "almighty crash" when cars on the top level collided with the bridge. Support engineer Richard Pithouse jumped up from his desk when he heard the commotion, on Gatwick Road, Crawley, at 10.30am on Friday.

/Telegrafi/
