1059:"PIC FROM MERCURY PRESS (PICTURED: A MAN WALKS PAST THE ABANDONED RANGE ROVER SPORT COVERED IN RED-SPRAY PAINT WARNING AGAINST THE CAR MAKER, PARKED OPPOSITE THE LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP IN MAYFAIR, LONDON) A disgruntled Range Rover customer has dumped their car on a Mayfair street opposite the dealership - covered in red spray-paint warning against buying from the company. The black Range Rover Sport, which ranges from 55,000 to 96,000, has been turning heads of passersby since it was ditched in one of Londons most affluent districts yesterday. Across either side of the car, the angry owner has sprayed dont trust Range Rover and Range Rover cheats & lies in red paint and block capitals. Inside, the windows are covered with paper signs saying: BE CAREFUL DONT BUY FROM RANGE ROVER. I GOT RIPPED OFF. THEY SOLD ME THIS JUNK. Another sign states: CAR NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. RANGE ROVER DONT CARE. A tour guide, Alan Doyle, claims people nearby were looking at the car in complete disbelief, taking pictures of the ruined paintwork.
