Instagram removes the IGTV button, considers that it is not being used that much

Two years ago, Instagram launched the IGTV video sharing platform, and now that it hasn't even been a month of this year, it has decided to remove the button from its current location.
According to TechCrunch, the button of this application will be removed from the top right, because it is considered that it is not being used that much, making it unnecessary to stay there, Telegrafi reports.
This does not mean that IGTV will go away completely, as the button of this platform can be found again and used for sharing and watching videos, the same as before.
Since its launch in 2018, IGTV has been downloaded more than one million times in the United States, while in the same time and region, TikTok was downloaded 80 times more.
With the launch of IGTV, Instagram wanted to rival YouTube as a platform that users could use to stream their favorite artists.
It was considered to be widespread because videos of up to an hour in length could be uploaded to it, although they were banned at just one minute.
All this, IGTV has not achieved in time and now it seems that the removal of the button may provide space for the placement of another, more requested option. /Telegraph/
