Çitaku: Public pressure forced Albin Kurti to withdraw from the attempt to elect the president.

Vlora Çitaku, a member of PDK, said that public reaction and citizen pressure forced Albin Kurti to withdraw from his attempt to elect the President in a “karate-style” manner and to overturn the constitutional order.
In a post on the social network Facebook, Çitaku wrote that Kurti abused the office of the President.
“Yes, even last night he did as much as he could. He came out and abused the President’s office. Albin, from that hall, it is the President or the elected President who addresses the citizens — not the Prime Minister, nor the majority’s candidate,” she wrote.
Çitaku further emphasized:
“Last night’s performance clearly illustrated, in both voice and image, that you actually see yourself as the only authority in this country: President, Prime Minister, Minister, Chief Prosecutor, and everything else. A shameful display.” /Telegrafi/
