ChatGPT reached one million users just five days after launch – much faster than other platforms

According to information coming from the service itself, the AI tool ChatGPT reached one million users just five days after its launch in November last year.
It's about the platform that can produce human-like texts and has been used for all kinds of uses, from writing short stories, prose, music, solving math problems and doing translations, Telegraph reports.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates has already warned that AI technology like ChatGPT "could replace people in white-collar jobs".
And Microsoft recently confirmed a multi-million dollar investment in US company OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT.
But according to foreign media, Telegrafi reports, other popular internet services generally took much longer to reach the number of one million users.
Instagram is among those that come closest. The popular social media service reached one million users in just 2.5 months, albeit measured through app downloads.
Spotify and Dropbox also achieved this quickly - in five and seven months, respectively, being services that like ChatGPT offer immediate practical use.
Other than Instagram, social media services usually took a little longer to gain a million users. /Telegrafi/
