The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received in a meeting the Commander of the NATO Joint Forces Command in Naples, Admiral George M. Wikoff, on the occasion of his assumption of duty at the head of one of the most strategic commands of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Osmani congratulated Admiral Wikoff on his new assignment and wished him success in leading the command, expressing her full confidence in his leadership and in the key role that this command plays for Euro-Atlantic security, regional stability and international peace.


During the meeting, Osmani reiterated Kosovo's gratitude to NATO and the United States for their continued contribution to guaranteeing peace and stability in the country since 1999.

She expressed special appreciation for the KFOR mission, describing it as a reliable preventive force and guarantor of security for all citizens, without distinction.

The President also confirmed Kosovo's commitment to continuing cooperation with KFOR and emphasized that the country remains a reliable, capable and contributing partner to regional security and stability, committed to the values ​​of peace, democracy and the rule of law.
