"The King of Heavyweights", Volvo one of the leaders in the truck market

In 2024, Volvo Trucks was the market leader for heavy trucks (16 tons and above) in Europe.

This company had a market share of 17.9 percent, and the markets with the most registered Volvo trucks during the year were the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland and Spain.

"We are very proud of this result. It is clear evidence that our customers value the efficiency, safety and working life of our trucks and that we have a very attractive product offering," said Roger Alm, president of Volvo Trucks.

He emphasized that the new Volvo FH Aero trucks quickly became very popular in the market and thanked customers and dealers for this achievement, reports Telegraph.

Globally, Volvo Trucks has increased its market share in 25 countries by 2024. In Brazil, Volvo is the leader in the heavy truck market for the third consecutive year, and the Volvo FH was the best-selling truck model of all brands in that country.
