"Call of Duty: Warzone" has more than 100 million players worldwide

Popular video game Call of Duty: Warzone crossed the 100 million player mark days after the same goal was achieved by Apex Legends.

The wildly popular "Fortnite" is played by more than 350 million players, while PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has sold more than 70 million copies of CDs and consoles.

The free version of PUBG Mobile generated $5 billion in revenue last year, or $7.6 million per day, reports the verge.

Warzone is growing faster than Apex, which took two years to cross the 100 million player mark, while Warzone reached March 2020 and reached that goal in just over a year.

Apex Legends arrives on mobile devices in beta this month and will also be available for users of the handheld console – Nintendo Switch. /Telegraph/
