"Vučić goes to Moscow for Kosovo", Albanian diplomat reveals Serbia's scenario

Sokol Gjoka, former Albanian ambassador to Moscow and Ukraine, has spoken about the meeting that will take place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Moscow.

According to him, the scheme that the Serbian president could use through this meeting includes a plan against Kosovo and for this he needs the help of Russia - the Kremlin.

"The priority relations between Serbia and Russia are known, they are consolidated and Serbia, with its policy in relation to the Balkan region, especially towards Kosovo, would not be at the stage it is at today without Russia's support," Gjoka told EuronewsAlbania.

He further said that "a problem in the Region, Europe and beyond, is Bosnia and Herzegovina with the separatist policies of Republika Srpska, of course, carried out by former President Dodik. On the other hand, the Russian Orthodox Church plays an important role in maintaining this axis that also affects Serbia."

"Vučić's visit to Moscow is not only to strengthen his alliance with the Kremlin, but also to obtain some political inputs from the Kremlin to use for his internal atmosphere in Serbia," he said.

Gjoka further said that "very soon it will be the turn of discussion on the issue of Serbia-Kosovo relations."

"Serbia is preparing for this turn as well and therefore needs a hand from the Kremlin to continue its oppositional and aggressive policy against Kosovo. Vučić wants to receive some kind of support and power from the Kremlin," said Gjoka. /EuronewsAlbania/
