Sami Lushtaku did not respond to the Prosecution, Nura says there is no official invitation

The Deputy Mayor of Skenderaj, Fadil Nura, stated at a press conference that the Mayor, Sami Lushtaku, will respond to the Prosecution's invitation as soon as it is officially accepted.

He emphasized that so far there has been no official invitation for the institution and that they are ready to cooperate with the justice authorities as soon as legal procedures are followed.

"Otherwise, we do not yet have an official invitation as an institution. We are waiting for it. The moment we have the official invitation, of course Mr. Lushtaku will respond...", said Nura.

Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecution Office of Mitrovica has announced that several people involved in the case have not responded to the invitation for an interview, including the mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku, according to the official announcement.

Nura also commented on the political reactions following the incident, saying that the language used by representatives of the Vetëvendosje Movement is unacceptable and tense. /RTV Dukagjini/
