797:"epa07112772 A handout photo made available by the Black Sea Maritime Archaeology Project (MAP) on 23 October 2018 shows what scientist describe as the world's 'oldest intact shipwreck' which was found by an Anglo-Bulgarian expedition at the bottom of the Black Sea off the coast of Bulgaria. Due to the lack of oxygene in a depth of about two kilometers the vessel was well preserved for more than 2,400 year. The ship that is thought to be ancient Greek, with its mast, rudders and rowing benches was discovered in 2017. With a small piece of the vessel radiocarbon dated to 400 BC 'it is confirmed as the oldest intact shipwreck known to mankind', Black Sea MAP said in a corresponding press release. Një ekip arkeologësh, shkencëtarësh dhe gjeometrash detarë ka zbuluar, siç besohet, mbetjet e anijes më të vjetër në botë, e cila ishte mbytur - një anije tregtare greke.

Pjesëmarrësit e projektit të Arkeologëve Detarë të Detit të Zi thanë se rrënojat u gjetën jo shumë larg bregdetit bullgar, në një thellësi prej dy kilometrash, nën kushte pa oksigjen, i cili ruajti pjesët përbërëse të saj.

Ata kanë kaluar tre vjet duke studiuar zonën me ndihmën e teknologjisë që më parë ishte në dispozicion kryesisht për kompanitë e naftës, raporton AP.

Ekipi zbuloi rreth 60 rrënojave, duke përfshirë një flotë të kozakëve rusë të shekullit të 17-të dhe anijes tregtare romake me ngarkesa të amforave.
