Picture must credit: Airbnb Here’s a holiday home worth packing your trunk for .The property is actually shaped like a giant elephant.Named Lucy, she was built in 1881 and is older than the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.Originally she was one of the huge number of colourful and often extravagant roadside USA models that dotted the highways for advertising purposes.Standing six stories high, Lucy is situated in the seaside town of Margate, New Jersey.SShe has one double bed , situated in part of an open plan lounge and dining area, and one bathroom. On her back is a viewing platform looking out over the Atlantic ocean .Lucy hosted her first stay in 1902 and over the years has been a tavern and even hosted former United States President Woodrow Wilson.Now she is open to guests through room sharing website Airbnb.
