School shooting in Thailand - at least six killed, 14-year-old suspect also eliminated
A shooting at a high school near Bangkok, Thailand, killed at least six people and injured 15 others, police said.
A 14-year-old student from the school is suspected of being responsible for the shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Nonthaburi province, northwest of the capital.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene, while students and teachers were evacuated from the school.
Authorities have urged citizens to stay away from the school area, the BBC reported.
Police and local media believe the attacker is dead, but it is not yet clear whether he killed himself or was shot by police.
Debsirin School is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Thailand. It was founded in the late 19th century and today has branches throughout the country. /Telegraph/
