Not just Rodri and Haaland, Real Madrid plans to 'attack' Man City for three other stars
Pep Guardiola's departure from Manchester City at the end of the season could shake up the dressing room and even push some high-profile stars towards an exit.
According to Diario Sport , Real Madrid are planning to exploit this situation, listing several City stars as potential targets in what could be another big summer spending spree.
Rodri remains at the top of Madrid's wish list, with his contract with City expiring next year.
Los Blancos are looking for a top-level midfield controller, and the Spain international has revealed his desire to play for them. His signing depends on the decision of new coach Jose Mourinho.
Erling Haaland remains a dream target for Los Merengues, especially if either Vinicius Junior or Kylian Mbappe leave this summer. Guardiola's departure could force the Norwegian forward to reconsider his future at City.
However, the biggest obstacle is his long contract until 2034, meaning it would take a world record fee to lure him away from the Premier League giants.
In addition to Rodri and Haaland, other stars such as defender Josko Guardiola and midfielders Tijjani Reijnders and Bernardo Silva are also on Real Madrid's radar. /Telegraph/
