Iran claims to have attacked US military base in Jordan
Iran's Revolutionary Guard has struck a US military base in Jordan, Iranian state media reported.
According to the report, the base located in Al-Azraq, as well as a command and control center in the "West Asia" region, were hit with ten ballistic missiles, writes skynews.
"If the US military repeats its aggression, other US bases in the region will not be safe from our powerful fire," the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Jordanian state news agency, citing a military source, reported earlier that Jordan's air defenses shot down eight missiles launched by Iran towards its territory.
The US military has not yet commented on the reported attack.
Otherwise, the US and Iran have resumed attacks on each other after a ceasefire reached last month. /Telegraph/
