Albania begins the Maran era, Duka introduces the new national team coach

The President of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Armand Duka, officially confirmed the appointment of Italian Rolando Maran as head of the Albanian National Team, simultaneously closing the cycle of former coach Sylvinho and his staff.

The Albanian Football Federation has entered a new chapter, as during the press conference the appointment of Rolando Maran as the newest coach of the Albanian National Team was made official.

The presentation was made by president Armand Duka, who described this as an important day for Albanian football and for the new red and black project.

With this decision, the Albanian Football Association aims to start a new phase of construction and ambitions for the national team, while at the same time confirming the end of the cooperation with Sylvinho and his staff. Now the focus shifts to the vision and objectives that Maran will bring to the red and black bench.

"Good morning and thank you for coming today on this important day for the Albanian national team, on which we will make public the appointment of the new coach of the national team, who is here on my right hand, Mr. Rolando Maran," the Duke initially said at the press conference.

"At the same time, we close a cycle with the former national team coach, Mr. Sylvinhon, and his staff," concluded the Duke.

Maran is a well-known football coach in Italy, having managed many teams in Serie A and Serie B such as Cittadella, Brescia, Bari, Triestina, Vicenza, Varese, Catania, Chievo, Cagliari, Genoa, Piusa and most recently Brescia. /Telegraph/
