Netanyahu: Attacking Iran is like removing cancer from the body – if you don't remove it, you die

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has compared attacks on Iran to treating a serious illness, stating that eliminating the Iranian threat is necessary for Israel's security.

"Attacking Iran is like removing cancer from your body. If you don't remove the cancer, you will die," Netanyahu said.

His statement comes at a time of high tensions between Israel and Iran, with both sides exchanging direct threats.

Netanyahu has repeatedly said that Iran's nuclear program, missile development and regional influence pose an existential threat to Israel. According to him, military action against Iran is aimed at preventing a greater danger in the future.

On the other hand, Iranian authorities have accused Israel of aggression and warned that any attack on their territory will receive a harsh response.

Analysts believe that harsh rhetoric from both sides increases the risk of a broader escalation in the Middle East. /Telegraph/
