Netanyahu praises military for deadly attacks in Lebanon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has supported Israel's recent airstrikes in Lebanon, which have caused dozens of casualties, while making no comment on the ceasefire agreement with the Iran-backed group Hezbollah.
In a reaction published on social media, Netanyahu said that the attacks were carried out "according to my instructions," praising the actions of the Israeli army.
Israeli attacks in Lebanon have left at least 47 people dead, according to reports, raising concerns that new clashes could jeopardize efforts for a broader peace deal in the region.
Meanwhile, the Israeli leader did not mention the ceasefire with Hezbollah, despite international efforts to maintain calm on the Israel-Lebanon border.
An Israeli military spokesman stated earlier that Israeli troops stationed in Lebanese territory have "freedom of action" to respond to any threat.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has announced that 47 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory. According to the statement, the attacks were carried out from midnight to this afternoon and also injured 97 people in the southern areas of Lebanon and in the Baalbek region.
The ministry stated that since the escalation of the war in March, the number of people killed in Lebanon has reached 3,980. /Telegraph/
