More than 100 tourists have been forced to jump into the sea after a tourist boat caught fire during a cruise near Fethiye, southwest Turkey.

According to reports, the fire broke out suddenly while the boat was at sea.

After the flames spread, the people on board were forced to leave the vessel by jumping into the water.

Coast Guard and Marine Police teams arrived at the scene and immediately launched the rescue operation.

Turkish authorities confirmed that all 107 people on the boat were successfully evacuated.

No casualties have been reported so far, while authorities have launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire. /Telegraph
