Netanyahu positively evaluates the meeting with Trump.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described his meeting with US President Donald Trump as "excellent", saying the two leaders share the same objectives for Israel's security and curbing Iran's nuclear program.

"When I say excellent, it's not just polite words. It was a conversation of full partnership, mutual support and understanding of our shared goal of Iran not having nuclear weapons," he declared.

The Israeli leader described the meeting as "one of the best conversations" he has ever had with a United States president, calling Trump a "friend of Israel."

According to Netanyahu, the meeting was also attended by senior teams from both sides, where ideas were discussed and issues related to Israel's security and future were coordinated.

The meeting between the two leaders comes at a time of high tensions in the Middle East, where Iran's nuclear program and regional stability remain among the top issues on the US and Israeli agendas. /Telegraph/
