A 43-year-old Venezuelan security guard has been found alive after eight days trapped under the rubble of a shopping mall in La Guaira, which collapsed after a series of powerful earthquakes.
According to rescue teams, he managed to survive in the basement of the building, where he had remained isolated since the moment of the collapse.
Despite the extreme conditions and lack of food and water, he remained alive until the moment of rescue.
Authorities say this case is considered a miracle, adding that it may be one of the last cases of survivors found after the disaster, writes CNN .
