Justin and Hailey Bieber were among the VIP guests at the wedding of Finneas O'Connell, brother of singer Billie Eilish, to Claudia Sulewski, which took place on Saturday in Santa Barbara.
Justin, 32, posted a few photos from the event on Instagram, featuring him and his wife, Hailey, 29. However, at one point during the festivities, the couple appeared to have a somewhat tense conversation.
The couple, who have been together for years, were seen chatting animatedly under the Southern California sun. The model was seen making quite expressive hand gestures before walking away from her husband.
Body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail that "the way Hailey looks back at her husband as he walks away after their lively conversation gives the impression that there could be tension or drama here."
James added that "Justin's posture, with his shoulders slightly hunched and the way he holds his arms loosely in front of his body, makes him seem less motivated and less positive at this moment."
However, the expert emphasized that it did not appear as if the couple were arguing.
"Hailey moved her hands and pointed, but not at him, so there was no clear signal of conflict," she said.
The couple's attendance at O'Connell and Sulewski's wedding comes just a few weeks before their eighth wedding anniversary.
Hailey and Justin tied the knot in a New York City courthouse on September 13, 2018.
A year later, they organized a grand ceremony with family and friends, which they then documented through a video published on YouTube.
Meanwhile, the couple celebrated the second birthday of their son, Jack Blues, on August 22.
To mark this special day, Hailey posted a series of photos on Instagram, writing in the caption: "Our sweet baby turned 2. Happy birthday, Jack Blues."
