The Free Trade Agreement between the EFTA countries and Kosovo will enter into force on 1 October 2026, opening up new opportunities for businesses and strengthening economic relations between the parties.
The news was announced by the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo, which announced that the Swiss Federal Council has approved the necessary changes for the implementation of the agreement.
EFTA includes Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, while the agreement with Kosovo aims to create more favorable conditions for trade and expand opportunities for companies on both sides.
According to the Swiss Embassy, the entry into force of the agreement marks an important step towards strengthening trade ties and creating new opportunities for businesses.
