US Navy helicopter crashes, one crew member missing.

A United States Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush made an emergency landing in the waters of the Arabian Sea on Wednesday morning, the US 5th Fleet announced.

Three of the four crew members have been rescued and are in stable condition. Meanwhile, the search continues for the fourth member, who has not yet been found.

The US 5th Fleet announced that there is no indication that the incident was caused by any hostile action and that the causes of the event are still under investigation.

This is the second accident involving a US military helicopter in this region in recent weeks.

On June 9, a US Army AH-64 Apache helicopter crashed in the Gulf of Oman. US President Donald Trump stated that it was shot down by Iranian forces, while the crew was rescued by a Corsair unmanned aerial vehicle. /Telegraph
