A real humiliation for Putin - Russia used to sell oil to India, now it is preparing to buy gasoline from India

Russia, one of the world's largest energy exporters, is preparing to import gasoline from India due to major problems in its oil refining sector.
According to reports, attacks on Russian refineries have caused a significant drop in gasoline production, which has decreased by about 25 percent.
At the same time, the fuel shortage in the domestic market has reached about 20 percent of total demand.
The situation has created an unusual paradox in the energy market. Russia continues to export crude oil to India, while Indian refineries process it and can then sell the produced gasoline back to the Russian market.
Analysts see this development as an indication of the difficulties facing the Russian energy industry following damage to its processing infrastructure.
Russian authorities are considering imports as a way to cover shortages in the domestic market and avoid larger disruptions in fuel supplies. /Telegraph
